Jean Bateman has worked most of her career positioning herself as a professional real estate agent. Known for her high energy, enthusiasm and creativity, she earned Level 2 Director Producer award in her second year with Allie Beth Allman and Associates.
Graduating from The University of Texas, Austin with a Bachelor of Journalism and double concentration in advertising and art, Jean has continuously utilized her degree throughout her career inspiring her creativity and promotional talents. With this background, Jean can pull from her experience to promote your property in this highly competitive market.

With seven years of award winning sales experience in the real estate department at The Dallas Times Herald, she distinguished herself as one of the top lineage producers in the United States. Jean won outstanding sales person multiple times, as well as, the McSam Award presented by The Dallas Home and Apartment Builders Association. Additionally, she was promoted to be the first woman real estate sales manager at The Dallas Times Herald.
Jean’s buyers and sellers have expressed how her construction knowledge has been beneficial, as a result of her love of architecture. She has remodeled 4 homes and designed and oversaw the construction of 2 new homes.

Jean has been blessed to live over 30 years in University Park, where she has been afforded the opportunity and experience of volunteerism and fundraising. During this time she and her husband of 37 years, Walker Bateman, raised three children; Jessica Bateman Pulliam, Jacquelyn Bateman and Walker Bateman V. Her professional, family, volunteer and fundraising opportunities enabled her to develop numerous friendships, business contacts and a deep network contributing to real estate success.
